Produced in huge numbers and seen in numerous colour schemes, not least standard Cub Yellow, this convenient size 1020mm span model is arguably one of the prettiest with its scale blue sunburst scheme. Those who appreciate fine detail will delight in the attention that’s been levelled on making this four-channel model look the part for not only does it feature a crisp Continental engine complete with cooling baffles, exhaust detail and oil cooler, there’s a neatly appointed cockpit, scale undercarriage and wheels, plus main struts, jury struts and even rivet detail.
Powered by a cheap ‘n’ cheerful 1200mAh 2S LiPo (not supplied) and requiring only a basic four-channel transmitter and receiver combo to complete, this eye-catching example of the breed looks fabulous in the air and suits anyone from experienced beginner to expert.
